LEAD RADAR METHODOLOGY

Evidence, freshness and confidence should stay visible.

10x Lead Radar is designed around an explainable operating loop: detect, enrich, score, explain, recommend, activate and learn. The methodology separates observed facts from commercial interpretations so a seller can inspect the reasoning, challenge uncertainty and keep control of consequential actions.

Core standard

Every opportunity should preserve six distinct elements: the observation, its source and dates, the commercial interpretation, known uncertainty, the recommended next action and the point at which the reasoning expires or must be refreshed. That separation makes research auditable and helps prevent an attractive narrative from outrunning its evidence.

EXPLAINABLE BY DESIGN

A score without evidence is just another instruction to trust the software.

Sales intelligence becomes operational when a user can understand why an account is prioritized, inspect the source, see what remains unverified and decide whether the proposed action is proportionate. Explainability is part of the workflow, not an appendix.

Evidence has provenance

Record where an observation came from, when the underlying event occurred and when the system captured it. Original sources should be distinguishable from repeated coverage.

Inference stays labelled

A likely need, buyer or value range is not the same as a verified fact. Lead Radar keeps interpretations challengeable and lists what must be checked.

Control precedes execution

Research and recommendation can be automated within approved boundaries. External actions follow permissions, suppression, policy and human-review requirements.

THE OPERATING LOOP

Seven stages from raw change to commercial learning.

Each stage produces an inspectable output and can stop when evidence or authority is insufficient.

  1. 01

    Detect and enrich

Capture approved observations, deduplicate them and add account context without erasing the original evidence.

  2. 02

    Score and explain

Assess fit, signal strength, freshness and confidence. Show the inputs and the assumptions behind priority.

  3. 03

    Recommend and activate

Propose the smallest sensible action. Apply human approval, sending policy, suppression and permissions before any external step.

  4. 04

    Learn from commercial outcomes

Use decisions, replies, qualified pipeline, proposals and verified won revenue to improve playbooks while preserving those states separately.

EVIDENCE CONTRACT

A recommendation should be reviewable in one view.

This structure makes it possible to change the conclusion without losing the facts that informed it.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLEIllustrative opportunity record
Not live customer data
Observation
A dated, sourced company change stored in the original context.
Source & dates
Source type, event date, publication date and observation date remain distinct.
Interpretation
The possible need and buyer route are explicitly labelled as reasoning.
Uncertainty
Missing facts, contradictory evidence and required checks remain visible.
Action & expiry
The next decision is proportionate to confidence and has a refresh deadline.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What buyers usually want to know.

How does Lead Radar handle false positives?

The pilot records why a signal was rejected or deprioritized, then reviews the rule, source or qualification conditions that produced it. False-positive learning is part of playbook development, not hidden from reporting.

What does confidence mean?

Confidence describes how strongly available evidence supports a specific interpretation. It should not replace fit or freshness, and it should not be presented as certainty about a future purchase.

How does freshness affect priority?

Each signal type has a useful decision window. Lead Radar preserves relevant dates and can require a refresh or expire the reasoning when that window passes.

Does AI send messages automatically?

The product model separates research and recommendations from execution. External actions are governed by the permissions, policies, suppression rules and human-approval design agreed for the workflow.
